Fixed asset and depreciation softwareYour assets work for years.Their depreciation is booked every month.

Machines, vehicles, computers and a shop fit-out are large purchases that pay off over time. Numeriya records the cost once, then posts depreciation every month until the asset is sold or retired. The book value always agrees with the balance sheet, and every asset is kept with its purchase invoice.

Why it matters

Assets that are not recorded properly make profit look wrong twice.

Expense a Rp120 million oven in one go and profit collapses in the year you bought it, then looks too good in the years that follow. Your bank, your investors and the tax office read the same numbers and draw the wrong conclusions.

With a well-kept asset register, every asset has its purchase invoice, its depreciation schedule and a record of how it left. When someone asks when it was bought and what it is worth today, the answer is on one page.

The asset life cycle, from purchase to disposal

One register for tangible and intangible assets, wired straight into the general ledger.

  • A complete asset register

Name, location, acquisition date, cost and the purchase document in one place. Major components can be recorded under their parent asset.

  • Depreciation every month

Choose straight-line, double-declining balance or units of production. Depreciation is posted every month and the accumulated balance stays right.

  • Intangible assets

Software licences, trademarks and copyrights are amortised over their useful lives. A capitalisation checklist helps decide what qualifies as an asset.

  • Sales and write-offs

When an asset is sold or retired, the gain or loss is worked out and the asset record is closed.

From purchase invoice to book value

  1. 1

    On purchase

    Record it from the invoice

Photograph the purchase invoice or type the details. Numeriya suggests an asset class and useful life; you make the call.

  2. 2

    Every month

    Depreciation is posted

Entries are made for every active asset, with no spreadsheet formula left behind.

  3. 3

    Year end

An asset schedule for the accounts

Cost, accumulated depreciation and book value for every asset, ready for the notes to the financial statements.

  4. 4

    On disposal

    Gain or loss on disposal

The difference between sale price and book value goes to profit and loss, and the asset leaves the register.

Frequently asked questions

Which depreciation methods are available?

Straight-line, double-declining balance and units of production. For units of production, log the asset’s usage each month and depreciation follows that usage.

Can I add assets I have owned for years?

Yes. Enter the cost, the acquisition date and the accumulated depreciation up to the day you start with Numeriya. Depreciation carries on from that balance.

Does a small business need to record impairment?

No. Businesses on SAK EMKM carry assets at historical cost. Impairment under PSAK 236 is available to companies reporting under SAK EP or SAK Indonesia.
